I have to say that people in Melbourne (or Williamstown, more specifically) are the friendliest people I’ve come across, so far. Today when we went down to the beach to swim, a bloke came up to me and started talking. His name was Glen and was down, waist-deep, in the water and went on about how he came down here to cool of his legs. He’d been playing footy and talked a bit about the teams ’round town and how Melbourne was the inventor of it, how it had spread to the other states and now had become a major National sport. All of a sudden, we came into comedy (I think I mentioned that there’s a comedy festival in Melbourne at this time). He bantered on about what stand-up he liked and which he didn’t like. Said that there was this guy who had dressed up like Waldo and did stand-up. Glen told me that he was real rubbish and actually… what’s the word he used… heckled the poor stand-up:ian for his gig. The comedian went of the stage crying. That’s comedy. I am trying to get some funds over from my Swedish account because we’re running dry over here. Hopefully they’ll arrive somewhere in the vicinity of YESTERDAY! ‘Ta ‘Ta! //The Joker
