Sorry for the time between posts guys! Yesterday we were out in the city again and was on our way to Queen Victoria Market. This is one of the bigger markets in all of Melbourne so we decided to check it out. Of course before this, we had been out on our morning walk and had been down to the beach. It was reaaaaally nice down in the water, I’d guess about 23-24°. So we of course took a swim. Well down in the water, we got attacked. This is the very beach it happened:
It came out of nowhere, and we heard all the seagulls squawking around us, then we saw it. It moved toward us like a black carpet near the shore. Kids were screaming and ran out of the water. Parents were worried something happened. One meter away from us, we could see that it was a large school of tiny fish, Whiteback’s I think George said it was. The birds, seagulls and pelicans, were enjoying themselves in their feeding frenzy. We left the seashore to them and went up and pressed in the sun instead. Oh yeah and the market… It looked really neat. Well inside the first building, there was all deli counters, people who sold cheese and salami’s. Great smells in the air but we managed to get through without buying anything 🙁 Next was the retail markets just up the street. Wasn’t very much to hang in the tree. We bought ourselves a couple of postcards that we’re going to send. That was it, and we went on our way home. Just managed to get myself a couple of flipflops as well, they are sorely needed for the walks down to the beach and inside the house. That’s it for now! PS. This is magic in a bottle.
Take care y’all! //The Joker
