Yesterday was not the best of days in terms of weather. However, what may be lost can be found in other ways. Pic of the day: The Sky (Part II)
George, who have this house together with Marie, told me about the glorious sports of Footy, football and rugby. I, who always thought that these were just words for the same sport, was sorely mistaken but am now enlightened. Footy = Australian Rules football, you may run with the ball, pass it in any direction with a “punch” rather than a throw. You may also kick it to your teammate and if he catches it, without it touching the ground, he gets a “mark”; a sort of free kick if you like. Points are scored in 2 ways: There’s 4 posts on each end of the field, constructing 3 possible point fields. The middle one, called “the Goal”, scores 6 points. The posts beside the Goal, is called “Behind” and scores only 1 point. Anyways… Yesterday was a fine day for walking, a light drizzle in the air and a mellow and warming wind blowing our general direction. We walked around Williamstown for about 45-1h:ish and stopped at the supermarket, walked home and made ourselves a healthy salad. Was on Skype as well with my brothers and mother talking to them about general life here and gave them the grand tour of the house. Maybe I could do a little video tour and post it on the site. What do you think? Now! It is time for a walk and then go down to the beach, tan-up and take a swim!! Yäy! //The Joker
