I quit my job today. 10½ years ago I started out as a tiny”intern”, 13 going 14; sorting agreements and random “janitoring”. Today I left my position as Product Owner and Domain Name Coordinator at Domaininfo/House of Ports and can’t really say what I’m feeling. I think I’m going to go with my usual one: Melancholia. This is what Wikipedia has to say on Melancholia:
[Melancholia] is a mood disorder of non-specific depression, characterized by low levels of both enthusiasm and eagerness for activity.
Sums it up quite nicely. Always good to have someone else classifying your emotions. However, Wikipedia also states:
Similarly, melancholia in ancient usage also encompassed mental disorders which might now be classed as schizophrenias or bipolar disorders.
